He's finally fully eating dry foods all alone. (It saves me 15-20 mins every meal..... Yay.) He's also drinking on his own. I still water him with a syringe because I see him eating a lot, but not drinking a lot. I'm sure I'm just not watching at the right moment, but better be safe then sorry. He actually looks so much more lively then he's been! I really feel bad for him because he doesn't have a friend, but we can't get a chick from a store. There's no where selling chicks around us. I'm spending at least 30 mins almost everyday. I'm trying to spend as much time as possible with him. Thanks for hanging around, and names, both male and female are appreciated!
New brooder! We moved him from a large muck bucket to a large brooder! He seems a lot happier with more room. His infected eye is completely healed and he's eating dry chick starter! It's still smashed in a pill crusher. I'm going to try to start switching him over to full sized chick starter. He runs back and forth flapping his wings. He's about 2 1/2 - 3 weeks old now! I'm so proud of him! I also feel like he's pretty lonely even when I try to spend as much time as possible with him. Any suggestions on what to do?
