I just rescued 4 feral chicks from their squalid living conditions in a ghetto neighborhood. They are the size of the 3 day old chicks I get from the local feed store, however they are starting to get feathers so I'm not sure how old they are. They are probably small for their age as they have only free ranged in suburbia. I have 20 full grown chickens that I've raised from chicks but they were vaccinated when I purchased them. I was wondering if I need to vaccinate these new rescued chicks before I introduce them to my flock and if so, what vaccines do I give them??? I'm in California and I've heard they've been cancelling poultry shows up & down the state due to Newcastle disease which makes me nervous. As of now, they haven't been anywhere near my flock just in case. Thanks

It is too late to vaccinate for Marek's.
Newcastle and coccidiosis vaccines are a possibility but I wouldn't do anything but keep them away from your birds till they are more mature. Then, put one of your birds with them and if neither pass a disease to the other, you're good to go.
