Hello!
We had 15 baby female chicks that are 3 weeks old (3 barred rocks, 3 light brahmas, 3 black giants, 3 red stars, and 3 buff rocks); I've only had them for 2 weeks. One buff is very lethargic and has been sleeping standing up most of the day. The other, a barred rock, won't stand up and is very wobbly; it's also the runt of the flock.
I have them in a galvanized horse tank with pine shavings feeding on chick starter with the temp around 75-80. I've put 2 1/2 tablespoons sugar in their gallon waterer to help perk the buff up. The barred rock will eat from my hand and wobble to the waterer, she just won't stand.
I was reading to maybe get some chick electrolytes for the water for the buff and maybe separate the barred rock and give Vitamin B, are these the correct things to do??
