what type of chick vitimins are available and the best places to buy them?

There are a variety of chick vitamins, I use Poly-Vi-Sol (WITHOUT iron) for a booster to weak chicks, as well as general purpose in their water for the first week or so to give them a jump start. They're water soluble and can be found at Walmart or any drug store for around $7-$10.

No, I give significantly less than on the directions as they are meant for a small child. For a weak chick, I generally put a drop or two on the side of their beak and they'll lick it up themselves. For all purpose (giving it to the whole group) I'll either squirt an dropper full into their waterer (I use a half gallon) or mix a little in with some mashed hardboiled egg.
