Chick w/trouble swallowing

I have a chick about a month old that has lost weight and seems to have trouble swallowing. The other day I noticed it had a piece of poop stuck in it's mouth that I removed. But she is still watery in the mouth and having trouble swallowing. When I looked down her throat (what little she let me), I didn't see obstruction. She sits alot making little chirpy noises. I haven't seen what her poop looks like as she is in w/others. I started to give her poly vit. drops.


Any suggestions?

Do you offer grit or freerange so they can pick up stones...She may not be able to grind her food well.. Also if you freerange look real well in her mouth, she may have a gapeworm...

No, I've never offered grit. I didn't think I had to since they are only eating the feed right now.
