Chick walking on ankles

I have a chick thatis now 4 days old,it had what I thought at the time curled toes,so we taped toes for a couple days and took off and its the same,his toes are curled under and it walks on its ankles.Any help would be of help to me,its a silkie

is it just her toes or are her legs spread apart? sometimes if chicks walk on slippery or waxy surfaces their legs 'splay'

No they are on paper towels,and this is the only one with this problem.It does not have splay legs.One of the taped toes bandage I put on yesterday fell off today and there is no improvement.I just moved it to a small box with a heat lamp as the others were walking all over it.I think it should be put down but dh wants to try a little longer. I just looked at the link and that is exactly what mine has and I have been giving it pol-vi-sol without the iron.This gives me some hope,Thank you so much for your help

I am sorry for your loss. Did you hatch him yourself? If so, have a look here:

If he came from the hatchery or if you hatched him yourself, it could very well have been riboflavin deficiency. It sounds like the little one passed peacefully and knew he was loved from all your attentions. I am sorry again for your loss.
