chick walks like penguin

She is segregated because she was having difficulty getting up the ramp to get inside. And because I was/am unsure what is happeningas yet I will probably re integrate her to my Bantam flock when I'm sure she is not in danger of dieing or at least if there is anything I need to be doing to fix this if possible. I have a orpington staying with her for company one from her initial flock of Babies. I wouldn;t put her all by herself. She also has a bunch of smaller babies above her and a trio of duckling on floor in front of her :p The plan was to take her and the bigger babies to a brooder/breeder/introductory cage in my coop But she doesn't get along with the babies so may try her back in her own flock I just worry we have been having tons of pop up storms I don't want her stuck out in those and I don't want to slip slide and invariably fall down going to rescue her. If the concensus is that she is just malformed but ok and nothing to do to fix her then she will be integrated into A flock just remains to see which she needs yet.

I am not sure that giving extra calcium to a young bird would be so good, since calcium in a non-layer can affect the kidneys and cause gout. She may have a spondylopathy that is a birth defect and could be related to mineral deficiency in parent stock. These can sometimes cause the chickens to sit with their legs out in front of them, and cause lameness. Hopefully, that doesn’t happen to yours. Here is a thread about a similar looking chicken, and my posts 4-7 have various links to read about kinky back/spondylopathy:

She is about the same. After reading some of the linked articles I beleive she has the roach back issue she has her hipspoking out above her back when resting like a photo in one of the linked articles . So she will be one of my well loved imperfect Chickens Perhaps she will make a good roomy for my Blind roo id she isn't competitive enough in my Bantam flock. Thanks for all the help and suggestions. I thought I had researched here pretty good before asking in a separate thread.
