My silkie recently hatched a few foster eggs and now has a few little chicks. Now what? Do I leave them in their small brooding coop for her to raise them? How does she keep them warm? (I know it's California, but it still gets a heck of a lot colder at night then it does in my brooder).

make sure they are away from the rest of the flock and the silkie will take care of everything just give her the essentials (food, water ect.)

I'm sure they'll be fine with mama. Have you ever felt how warm it is under a hen's wings?
