My black Freedom Rangers got here this morning, and one of them isn't walking right. It doesn't seem to have splayed legs, but one leg sticks out funny and the other's toes are curled oddly. He seems to be getting around well enough to the food and water. His gait reminds me of a pirate with a peg leg. Should I do anything or worry?

edited to add: He's having issues with the others running him over - should I separate him?

I have the same problem with one of my chicks. So far he is doing well. I put a little splint on his leg to help straighten it out. I would try rolling the joint around to see if it may be a slipped tendon, if it is, you'll probably feel it pop back in.

I'd also say put him in another area with just one other chick, just to keep him company.
