Chick with an eye problem

I have a month and a half mille fleur and noticed his eye was a little funny, on closer inspection his eye had aclear substance covering it and he had his eye closed a lot. What can i do to help him get better?

His eye looks slightly swollen. Apply some neosporin or triplebiotic ointment to his eye. Watch him for other signs of respiratory disease--sneeze, swollen face and eyes, bubbles or drainage in eyes, and nasal drainage. Mycoplasma, infectious bronchitis are some common diseases. Thanks for replying. How would apply the Neosporin to his eye? I don't want to Hurley him.
