Chick with bent toes.

My quail chick hatched out with bent toes not at the ankle but at the nuckles what do I do to fix this problem.

Straighten the toes out and stick a piece of duct tape to the bottom of his foot so it looks like he has duck feet. You need to do it soon after he hatches and in 3-4 days the tape will fall off and his toes will be straight.

I have had a Few Bobwhite Quail hatch like that, i usually just leave them alone and it fixes itself within 2-3 days. I think its sometimes just a hatching thing.

Yea because it did fix its self. And now its walking around very well.

Glad it fixed it self, otherwise the tape works well. The one in my avatar had curled toes on one foot and splayed legs, so toes are taped and legs shackled. Tape and shackles fell off after 1-2 days and all was normal.
