chick with bloody sack

I just hatched a chick and it has a bloody sack attached to its stomach. Its not like what they usually hatch with that falls off quickly. This is like bloody and veiny. Is this the yolk sack unabsorbed?

Thats what it sounds like. I believe you can only leave him alone and let it reabsorb on it's own. Might have to keep separate so other chicks don't peck at it. Maybe others with more experience can offer suggestions. Can you post a picture? It might help with diagnosis. Good luck! I hope it works out OK.
