Chick with broken leg?

Are you sure it's broken and where is the break?

It looks like it is. The chick limps around and doesn't move as much as its siblings. It lays down a lot. It has its leg raised and doesn't put weight onto it.
Could be a sprain too..
If it's not putting weight on the foot then there is a very good chance it's a fracture, so you need to catch it and check for a fracture. If the fracture is below the femur it has a very good chance of healing. Try to figure out what bone is broken. The most common fracture if the tibia.

Then it would need to be fixed with a splint. A Vet is the only person who can set it if it's broken?..
It really depends on where the fracture is. Most are fixable and I can tell you how to do it.
Some fractures do better without splints.
A vet is not needed in most cases, this is something that most people can handle on their own. I'm not saying that one should not to use a vet, because obviously, it would be best to have a vet look at it, just saying a vet is not needed.
