Chick with crooked foot/toe. What should I do? **PICS**

sunny & the 5 egg layers :

If only one of her feet is crooked, should I only make one boot for that one foot? Or should I make two so she doesnt walk unbalanced?

In the picture, both are crooked.

Should she be kept seperate? Could this have anything to do with why she is so much smaller?

Thanks everyone for all of the help and support I have received so far! BYC is the best!!!

I wouldnt seperate her unless of course she is in danger of the other ones ~ and it she must be ok if she's gone this long. Just my thought. One of mine has 1 toe that is crooked just a small bit and she walks fine so I left it. But I know your dealing with many toes. We had to put a splint on one of our young chicks, then band-aid her legs a few days after that we kept her alone with a stuffed animal, then slowly added a few of the mellow chicks so she would have company. That worked out well for us. But mine was a new chick when we did this. Good luck and I hope he/she is okay.

I had some chicks given to me last year and half of them had feet like that. I attempted the boot method but it hurt them too bad, so i was gonna sell them to my neighbor for food. My brother felt bad and took them instead. They all grew up fine and still scratch and Live it up like all the others!
