These chicks hatched about a week ago. One's toes were very curled up when she hatched; all her toes have since straightened out except one. Should it be splinted or will it correct itself? And how do you splint it and is it too late?

it would be okay to splint now if you can just place a stick of some sort Popsicle or tooth pick (or two) whatever seems to fit best under the toe straight it out and tape the stick to the toe.

A splint would work the best.

LOL til the toes straight...... honestly I don't know...... I would leave it a week then check it and see how it looks, if it needs longer then re splint it.
