I heard you can make little "shoes" for chicks with deformed feet. My chick's feet are a little deformed, she has a hard time getting around. Can anyone provide a link for these shoes? Or give me instructions? Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks!

Toes upon hatching are very limp. The bones are not hardened and if you don't catch the curling toes right away before the bones harden, it might be too late.

Out of the small number I've hatched, I had to tape 3 chicks toes for the first 2 days.

People use pipe cleaners or tape if it's correctable. If you can straighten the toes without causing any pain, then splinting with pretty much anything you can find in your house should work. I've only had to use scotch tape, I correct it immediately in the first 24 hours of life and the bones in the toes harden in 1-2 days.

Good luck.
