Chick with deformed toes? Pics.

I'd like to see a picture of your orthotics that you have created. I imagine there are a lot of people here with problem chickens that might be able to apply your creation to their own birds.

Sure, I'll post a pic before taking the next set off! The first time I cut a toothpick down to about 0.5 inch, wrapped it (especially the ends which I had filed but couldn't make completely smooth) with the self-sticking wrap (the kind that only sticks to itself). Then I had my mother hold Valentine while I placed the splint along the toes and wrapped it up with the same stuff.
This time, instead of a toothpick, I wrapped up a segment of popsicle stick.
That type of tape/wrap worked really well since it has a lot of stretch and holds well without really risking circulation.
