Chick with foot/leg problem Please help

This chick hatched on Thursday 5/3/2012. So it's only 4 days old. Eats, drinks, and poops well. Gets pecked on as much as it pecks back and seems strong and healthy. The foot was possibly injured by two hens who both wanted to be mommy. (Had to take its sibs out of the pen as well.) Foot looks good in color and he/she puts some weight on it. Hubby thinks we
should put it down. (culled) Named it Boxie.

So, my question is: Is there some way to make him us the foot? some way to bandage or brace it?

Please help us, I've read other posts that seem similar and I think it might need to be braced soon to help.
