Chick With Leg Injury! Urgent!

This little guy seems to be in deep trouble. The chick is a week and a half old. I’ve arrived home from school and saw the chick's leg injury. I have no idea what could have happened. Its leg is very bruised and swollen. Its bleeding is minimal. Most of the blood came from one of the feather shafts that seems to be broken. The chick appears to be moving around well and is very alert. Any help is appreciated.

Hello! I was just checking up on the thread to see if anyone had replied. Please, any help is welcome. The chick is still very active and alert. Cricket (the chick’s name) holds its leg up when standing, but when it tries to walk, Cricket uses the foot. Thank you, BYC, in advance.
