Here is one of the chicks from the 11 my broody Little Hen set.
As you can see, it only developed head, cape, wing & tail feathers.
After 8 weeks there was no sign of body feathers coming in and the down was getting worn away.
You can see one of its clutch-mates in the foreground that was properly developed.
I culled it along with my Roo's this morning.
Is this a common condition?
