Chick with messed up feet!

This chick is fresh from a friend of mine and has a very wide stance like she's walking on ice. She has an extra hallux on one foot and her feet aren't positioned right. Should I splint them with cardboard? See how she develops? I'm at a loss.

Update: She has band-aid splints and little painters tape shoes. She ate and drank with a little help but is very tired from the hatch.
