I just had a chick hatch a few minutes ago that had a bald, fleshy spot on its forehead. It was especially noticable since this this is black skinned and the fleshy spot was pink. It wasn't bleeding. I left to get my phone and came back just a few minutes later and another chick was picking on it and now it is bleeding. Idk what to do. What do I apply? Or do I just put the chick down?

It looks awake so they didn't kill it. I'd keep it separated from the rest and put it back in the incubator turned down to 95F. Before you move it though, I'd put triple antibiotic ointment on it like Neosporin without pain killer on it. Vetericyn spray would also work, but I'm thinking the ointment would keep it moist for now. He doesn't even look dry yet, so maybe after he's fluffy, you could reevaluate it for which to put on it.

Was this a vaulted silkie?

If it hatch that way, it's brain is exposed. This a death sentence for this little peep unfortunately.
