I have 3 chicks, all a week old. One of them, a Golden-Laced Wyandotte, pasted up a few days ago and I cleaned that up. Over the course of Wednesday and Thursday, three times she produced poop that had dark red/orange in it--once it was runny, the other two times it wasn't. I was terrified it was coccidiosis, but they have never been outside, I clean their cage and change the water twice a day, and the other two aren't showing any signs at all. And aside from those three odd poops, the rest of the time her poop seems normal. She's still eating and drinking eagerly and doesn't seem listless or tired. she doesn't seem to be growing quite as fast as the other two, but she's a day younger and they're different breeds (I have an Ameracauna and a Black Sex Link), so I didn't know if that meant anything.
Any thoughts? I'm a first-time chicken owner so I'm afraid I'll let something go too long that I should have known was a big problem.
