I have a chick that is just a few weeks old with sissor beak. It was only slightly off at first but is getting worse. I need some advise on how (or if) this is correctable since she is so young. Right now she is still eating and drinking and is on par with the other chicks growth.

It will get worse as she gets older. Special care will be required like beak filing and deep dishes so she can eat. Worst case is hand feeding her every few hours.
Cross beak is not genetics I keep in my flock.

Not all cases of cross beak are hopeless. I have one that looked like that as a chick and it did get worse until she was older but she hasn’t had any problems eating regular food. And I’ve never done anything to her beak. She 3 years old now and still thriving even though she is at the bottom of the pecking order so maybe I got lucky with her cause I know that’s not always the case. And I would never hatch from her. Good luck!

Thank you very much for the advise. I have been lucky this my first one like this and I will make sure she doesn’t hatch any eggs.
