Chick with swollen vent...help!

This is my 3 week old Blue Orpington Pullet. I have had her all of a week and today noticed that her vent is swollen and bloody. She is alert and energetic but I would imagine she is in pain. Does anyone know what this could be and what I can possibly do about it. Obviously I have already seperated from the rest of the chicks so they don't peck at it.
Any help and suggestions are welcomed! Thank you!

I don't know much about chick health but with hens you would put sugar on it to reduce swelling.
