One of my sweet little 5 week old pekin bantam chicks has been sneezing and keeps closing one eye. The eye looks normal (I. E. Not red or swolllen) except it sometimes gets tiny bubbles in the corner and he closes it a lot, but not always. When he sneezes a little bit of clear fluid comes out. Otherwise he seems OK, active as normal, eating well, poop normal.

I know it is probably a respiratory infection of some kind but is there anything i can give him to boost his recovery? I left him for a few days but he hasn't got better on his own yet. Should I just hope his immune system takes care of it?

Sneezing, with fluid coming from the nostrils and bubbly eyes sounds like respiratory illness. Mycoplasma and Infectious Bronchitis are fairly common. Make sure you have plenty of ventilation in your housing and that there are no molds or something in his environment that is causing these symptoms. Try to keep the eye flushed out with saline, if you notice any pus in the eye remove that and apply an ophthalmic ointment like Terramycin.
Tylan50 can be given orally to help with any secondary infections. You need to weigh your chick to give the correct amount. Dosage is .20ml per 1 pound of weight given 2-3times a day for 5days in a row.
