Rooster shows signs of illness and doesn't open eyes

UPDATE:
Rooster is isolated inside the house (because its rediculously baltic still outside to be on his own) for over two weeks now. Husband was washing his eyes and giving water daily. Yesterday we guided roosters head into bowl of water and he started drinking himself. He cannot see, just learnt that there will be water. Around eyes awful swelling. Comb is bright red as normal. And he is loud!

Hey! I recently had a hen with this same eye thing pop up, after the research i tried to do i came to the conclusion it was a respiratory infection called mycoplasma. It is said to be contagious so i isolated my hen in a room inside our house and it said to give them electolytes, so i got this electrolyte powder for poultry and mixed that with water for her. I had to help her drink of course cause she couldnt really open her eye, but after about a week of just her being secluded and giving her electrolytes in her water seemed to heal!
Well, a whole month later of nursering our rooster in the house with spoon feeding/drinking him and washing his eyes we thinks it is mycoplasma. Which is bacterial disease and says he is now carrier forever.
