I just hatched eggs for the first time, my eggs hatched Tuesday-Thursday and I had one left that I could still hear chirping a day after all others had hatched. I think that one of my other chicks actually pecked his shell causing it to dry out and shrink wrapping him. I decided to assist him with hatching yesterday (2 days after shell cracked and no progress) and he still has his umbilical cord attached to a piece of his shell. It’s been about 20 hours since his assisted hatch and he’s fluffed up and walking around (kept him in incubator other than taking pic) but still dragging his shell. Should I do anything or just let it fall of naturally?

20 hrs is plenty of time unless navel is open. You can snip cord with sterilised scissors close to navel - leave a stump, that falls away by itself.
