I have a chick, 10-14 days old, who since yesterday has developed a bum leg. It was very active yesterday, This morning, the same chick is a little slower (eating and drinking very well though) and it's weak leg looks like it's not growing as much.
Can I correct this? Can she live a decent life as a hopping hen if not? I don't think I could put her down. I really hope I can fix this.
Background:
Chicks are between 10 days and 2 weeks old ("day olds" came into the feed store 10 days ago)
Getting medicated feed, added vitamins to the water starting today.
Broody not incubator, if that makes a difference
