chick wiv 4 toes????????

hi iam a first time hatcher i have 4 chicks that r 2 days old but one of my chicks has 3 long toes his spear at bk and another long toe attacted is this normal ,he is walkin ok please help ???????????????

That's OK, silkies and some other breeds do have two back toes. Do you know the breeds of your chicks?

I don't know much about chickens but I know some breeds of chickens have extra toes.

Otherwise, it's just a genetic mutation and there's nothing you can do. if it isn't hindering him, then let him be!

i was told they r welsumer x rode island and rode island x maran .hes seems ok it just looks odd lol hes cute.black fluffy colour.

Correct me if I am wrong....Maran's have 5 toes...that's where the extra toe came from Your baby is just fine
