Chick won’t stand after drowning

Hello, my husband recently bought some baby chicks and he made the mistake of leaving them outside. We didn’t know it was going to rain but it did and they got wet and possibly drowned. I was able to rescue them in time I dried them off and warmed them up they look great for the most part but 2 of them don’t seem to be able to stand up straight. I set them down on the floor to stand but they just fall back. When we got them they were walking and standing perfectly normal but now they’ve lost their balance I guess. Can anyone tell me why that is? Did drowning cause them to loose balance?

How long ago did this happen? Hopefully they are still recovering. What temperature are they kept at?

This happened this morning. I don’t know how long it was raining for but they were out overnight. I don’t know the temperature, I kind of just have them in a restroom with a heater on. (That’s how I was taught to care for them in cases like these)
