Oh...good idea. My other hens (plymouth bar, rhode island red) have normal beaks. It seems its only the Americauna that have really curved beaks. We recently got another Americauna pullet, and she also has a really curved beak....but I don't dare trim this one! It was too traumatic the last time.
Thanks for the good advice about concrete or other surface to have them rub against. I'll do that!
