Chicken acting drunk

I’m glad that she is walking some and drinking water. It may be something she ate, some type of poisoning, or Mareks disease could be a problem. Eating mold spores that can sometimes contaminate feed, lead paint chips or old lead shot in the ground, poisonous plants, even leakage of hydrocarbons from leaky machinery, can be toxic. Mareks can only be confirmed with a necropsy by the state vet after death. Hopefully, she will begin to get hungry and eat. Just try to get her taking some treats such as egg, tuna, salmon, liver, hamburger, or mealworms. Can you check to see if her crop is empty or full, just to make sure she doesn’t have an impacted or sour crop. If you should lose her, and want to get a necropsy, you would need to refrigerate her body, and contact the state vet from this list:

After feeding her by hand for two days she seems to be almost 100% better. I am really thinking she may have eaten something that did not agree with her. I did find some mushrooms in the lawn that were pecked at, and a stray piece of packing Styrofoam that must have blown into the bushes. I'm just glad she seems to be feeling better.
