Chicken addicted**How big is the coop??

I agree with everyone...

that being said, I have always had about 2 sq ft per bird in the coop and 10 sq ft in the run. I have three different coops. I have never had any overcrowding behaviors....but I also free range everynight for an hour.

I have happy healty bird for over 3 years and have added and taken away from the flock, so it is not just the personality of my birds! Personally for my birds I am mostly worried about run space, my birds are only in the coop to sleep and lay. Even in the dead of winter...
