How can you tell the age of a full grown chicken?

maybe 4-5 months? I'd say once the hens start laying...but I'm just guessing here. Anyone else know?

It's usually very difficult to tell the exact age of a full grown chicken, but it can be guessed. The color, shape and size of the comb and wattle are good indicators of a chicken's age, but you need to know the breed too. Younger chickens usually have fuller, shinier feathers in a greater quantity. This is as much as I know, but hopefully someone with greater knowledge than I can help you.
