The town of Albertville, Minnesota does not allow backyard chickens. The town city counsel has shot down the idea 2 times already. They say that property value will go down because it would produce stink.. Etc. so the city call classifies chickens as farm animals and farm animals are not allowed in city limits. It sounds elitist? How do we change the city or law to make an exception to this? Minneapolis allows hens.. No roosters.. 10 hens max. Permission from joining neighbors a permit fee and inspections of coop. Why can't they do that here in Albertville?
