Chicken ate my earring...what do I do?

Help!
My neighbor's 4 - 5 week old chick ate my pearl stud earring.

What do I do?

The chick that ate the earring is in a brooder now, with its sister.

Any suggestions?

I have two, apx 13 month old chickens, adopted from friends moving. I don’t have experience with chickens.

The intention is to join the chick and chickens into one back yard flock.

thank you,
Barbiee

The post was from two years ago, and the poster hasn't been seen since Sep 26, 2020. Unlikely you will see an update.

One of my chickens ate a 3/8" galvanized nut (like bolt and nut, yes that kind!). The bird is fine.

The pearl earring, I assume, was dissolved/crushed into unrecognizeable condition.
