One of my month old cinnamon queens was pecked in the neck so bad that there is a spot about the size of a quarter where the others pecked her down to the shiny tendons. I have her in the house now, what do I do???? I put food and water in with her and she didn't want either. Is it too late? HELP!!!

Im not any where the expert but maybe try some antibiotic ointmen? Maybe me bumping the thread will get some better answers. I have read that sugar water in and eye dropper will help some injured birds perk up. Maybe try that?

How is she doing now? I'd say keep her calm and isolated, she's going to be in shock to a certain degree. I've heard people recommend antibiotic ointment (without the pain relief) but my product of choice is called vetricyn. After you get some healing going on and she's eating and drinking well on her own, I'd blue coat it and allow her to re-join the flock. Best of luck!

This morning she seems ok...if I didn't know there was a problem, I wouldn't know there was a problem! I have her in the house in a tub, I can't tell if she's eaten or drank. When I looked in on her this morning she stretched her legs and wings and was just talkin to me.

What's the blue stuff you're talking about? I've heard of others talk about blue coating a wound but I don't know what that is.

Thanks so much for your concerns. I hate that this happened to this poor little chickie. I don't know what happened or who done it.
