We had a pack of 4 dogs come into our property and go after our chickens in their run. We were alerted by our Pyrenees who was in the house, but she woke us up. I saw one with a chicken in it's mouth running, and we thought they had gotten a silkie. Luckily the silkie came back quickly, and was unharmed. My buff brahma, however, was missing. We looked around everywhere for her, but couldn't find her. When going to check on the chickens for the millionth time, we saw Leia on top of the nesting box sleeping since she couldn't get into the coop. She has a few injuries, but nothing too bad on her body, that I treated, however one of her eyes won't open. Any ideas of what to do to help her? I brought her inside where she's in a dog crate, but she wouldn't eat or drink.

I'm sorry to hear this.

How long ago did this happen?
She may still be in shock. Do you have photos of her wounds?
I would keep her warm, you can drip warmed electrolytes or sugar water beside her beak to see if she will take in fluids. Hydration is the most important thing.
Will she open the other eye? It may be a wait and see with the eye- she may have injured it or got something in it. IF it will not stress her too badly, gently pry it open to see if there is debris or if it looks injured. If you see something, then flush with saline. Plain Neosporin or an eye product like Vetericyn eye gel or Terramycin eye ointment can be put into the eye if you deem it necessary.

This happened about twelve hours ago. She just came back about two hours ago. I don't have pictures of her wounds right now. The other eye is open though, and zero issues. I'll try to get water into her though.

2x IF you know who those dogs belong to, best to go knocking on the door. Inform Animal Control, if the dogs are strays/feral, they'll probably be getting more calls.

We do know who they belong to. They've attacked some neighbor dogs before. Animal control has been there many times. Unfortunately, if the dogs are contained by the time they get there, and we don't have proof that they were on our property off leash or they attacked our animals, they can't do anything about it. We actually shot at one, but had only our hand gun and nothing for the distance we were at. We missed, which is why we think our silkie is still alive. We plan on getting our cameras back up and running so we can have proof so they get a citation. They can't take them immediately unless they attacked a person

OK, so she was "lost" for a good while. I would definitely get her warm, then see if she will take some fluids.
