Chicken attak

can home and my chicken was down and a big cat ran away , feathers everywhere, poor chicken seems like her neck is broke, big gash behind the head stoped bleeding got her inside the house now about 2 hours i figure seems like her neck is broke.

Sorry to hear about that - hope you can deal with that cat! I would think if her neck was broken it would have broken the spinal cord and killed her outright. Hope she recovers.

She is just still lying on her side. No movement but will open her eye when I call to her. If I pick her up her head flops forward all the way down. I gave her a couple of drops of water and she responded but nothing else. If she was just in shock wouldn't she have come around by now . It has been over 4hours now. If anyone has a suggestion I would appreciate it. Thanks
