chicken behavior

Today I was out with the girls and one of them mounted another. Is this normal? Is it a dominant thing?

I have never seen this amongst my hens, and I am out there with them A LOT. I was out watching them a good 3+ hours today

No.. I wasn't trying to get out of laundry day

Are you sure the one doing the mounting is in fact a hen? Or if she was even really mounting her at all?
