chicken bonnets?

has anyone tried a bonnet or some type of hat placed on the chicken?

I can sew but do you think that this would work?

A bonnet wouldnt that work just like a saddle would? and keep the head protected..

I am thinking about using duct tape on my Polish roo's head! He is the biggest; he is the loudest; he is the ONLY Polish getting scalped. Go figure!
I'll be watching for ideas.
