With sweet looks and coos,
and a snuggle in your lap,
a hen conquers all.

As part of our home school this morning, in honor of this thread, we worked on Haiku's.

Here is my 10 year old daughter's:

Grumpy, broody, hens
Squawking, rolling, you name it
Soon, butterballs come!

Here is my 12 year old son's:

Sweet, loving, chickens
Happy when they lay their eggs
Singing Their Egg Song

And this is my 10 year old son's:

Buff Orpington hens
Are definitely big ones
And nice and fluffy
