So I have had my chickens for about 6 months now, and I am still unsure of the breeds. I have done research and looked up tons of pictures to figure it out, but I still don't know. I believe two are RIR or New Hampshire Reds otherwise I have no clue... I will get pictures up in a minute

You could post separate pictures of your birds on "what breed or gender is this?" thread. Best photos would be clear, closeups of head- showing comb, and side view. By this age someone should definitely be able to tell you what you have.

This is today and just thought I'd share... I couldn't find where eggs were being laid and I found it! 17 eggs in one big pile
400

I have two like the brown one.
Not many close up on the black one ( she's camera shy)
I am asking because I'm hatching chicks and would like to know what type I will be getting... I have crossbred all my hens with the one rooster
400

Thank you

Your male isn't a breed. He's a mix. We'd need a better photo of the female, but it is likely that she too is a red mix of some kind.

People have a desire to know and have a wish that all their chickens are some "breed" or another, but the reality is that the majority of chickens are just chickens, not any breed at all. To be a breed a chicken actually has to be bred to be a breed, in other words, bred to the Standard written for the breed.

Apart from that intention and only breeders and others dedicated to high quality breed preservation, a chicken is just a chicken. As long as they serve your purpose, that's just more than fine.
