the coop is 6x6x7’high and the run is Run is 18’x6 and about 5 ft high

So you have space to add a bit more clutter then. Keep it small scale or fairly open (i.e. a sawhorse, a wooden chair), bulky items will eat up too much floor space, but anything that breaks up the area will help.

I think I would try the pin-less peepers. Put them on any bird that you catch pecking.
