I have been keeping it at 95 degrees for the first week.

Before they got to the feed store in Saturday they had stayed at the post office over night because they didn't call the feed store

I know lots of people say to have it pretty hot, but 95 sounds pretty warm. My brooder was probably more 85 degrees when my chicks came home, they were probably 3 days old or so. Forgive me if thats way to cold and I'm doing it wrong! My chicks are doing really well though.

95 is on the too hot side.
I don't even start tiny quail chicks that hot.

The delewares have not had pasty butt since Monday morning and even then it was only one. Today lemon bar (the light brahma) had a little bit of poop under her vent but not on it, and now she is doing fine.
