Chicken butt

One of my leghorn chickens has a nasty looking butt. I only have 4 and was getting 4 eggs daily. Now i am getting 3. I have not sat out there and watched who laid what but i suspect this one is not laying. Any suggestions or help would be appreciated.

It's a bit hard to tell what's going on. She does look red under there. Is it possible for you to part her feathers and get a photo of the skin?

My initial thought is that another flock member may be pecking at her bum (where the bald spot is in the upper right), but it's difficult to tell.

I agree, it would be a good idea to gather her up, give her bum a wash up and inspect for any plucking/picking, injury, mites/lice, etc.

How old is she?
