Chicken Cam

I'm not tech savvy. How does it work?
The cameras ? When it comes to cameras there are 2 options. Wireless and wired. I ran camera wires and power wire out to my shed and then jumped them into the coop . At the coop I have a “ brake point “( a disconnection box ) I plan on moving everything in the spring .

I simply wired them to a POE switch and added the app .

I utilize Arlo wireless battery powered cameras. There is a base station that attaches to the internet router in your house and then you synchronize the cameras to the base station. There is an app then that you use to see the cameras from your phone, tablet or a website for your computer.

If you decide to go the Arlo route, get a base station with as many cameras as you think you MIGHT want. They are cheaper as a pack and can get pricey one or two at a time. Set up was really easy.
