Chicken can't stand, emergency

I agree that it cold be a vitamin or mineral deficiency from not getting a balanced chicken feed, something toxic, or heat/dehydration. But I would also check for a stuck egg by inserting a clean finger inside the vent up to 2 inches. A chicken sling chair could be something to make to get them up, in front of food and water for the day. Here is a link to see examples and a design in post 11:

Welcome To BYC

Can you please post some photos of the birds?

You mention she's a meat bird? What have you been feeding instead of commercial feed?

Sometimes even if you limit feed for meat birds, they can still have leg issues. And if you haven't been giving them a nutritionally balanced feed, then this may be part of the problem as well.

You have another from March about a broiler chick that was having difficulty walking. Is this the same bird or a different one?

Hello
it's a different bird.
We feed them corn , cooked rice, barley crust , dried fish, wheat etc
Hard boiled egg yolk once or twice a week

You can try giving vitamin therapy to see if that makes any difference. I'd give 1/4-1/2 of a human B-Complex tablet once a day.

Hard to know, but unfortunately, since this is a meat bird, the legs just may have given out and she may not be able to recover. Broilers are not a long lived bird, so you're doing good at 8 months.

Thanks a lot for your suggestions
I will try to follow your instructions

I really hope they can keep living and stay healthy

My chicken was having difficuly walking, but still laying eggs, etc. We gave her calcium pills daily for about a week and she got better! I have now added oyster shells to their diet and will feed them eggshells.

I hope she gets better! Since it has been about a month I believe,( plus I just saw this) how is she? Is she still alive, or did you cull her? Poor baby. I mean, if she is a broiler, than you will cull them, right? Or are they pet-ish birds?
