Chicken cant stand

Hi thank u for havn me. My name is Debbie. I have a 5 month old BB Bantam pullet. A few days ago she started limping. I looked her over an found nothing. Yesterday she started useing a wing to balance herself. Today she cant stand at all. But she eats n drinks. Any ideas are welcome an treatment

It could be anything from an injury to an infection. I'd take her to an avian vet.

Can you post photos of her?

What's she eating?
Is she laying eggs yet?


I'd check her leg for any signs of injury, bruising or swelling.

At her age, Marek's disease also comes to mind but there's no way to know for sure unless you lose her and have testing/necropsy through your state lab.

In the mean time, keep her eating/drinking. Get her started on vitamin therapy to see if that makes a difference. Give her 1/4 tablet B-Complex daily, just quarter the pill and pop the piece directly into her beak and let her swallow.
